Product Care

Shade Care and Maintenance:

Regular Maintenance
- Weekly Dusting: Dust your lampshade at least once a week to prevent dirt from embedding into the fibres.

Tools for Dusting:
- Lint Roller: Gently roll over the surface to lift loose dust and pet hair.
- Microfiber Cloth or Soft Brush: Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled brush (like a clean makeup brush) to reach into crevices, especially on pleated designs.
- Vacuuming: Use a low-suction vacuum with a soft brush attachment.

Spot Cleaning Stains
- Blot, Don't Rub: If you notice a spot, address it immediately by gently dabbing the area with a soft, damp cloth. Rubbing can damage the fibers and spread the stain.
- Mild Detergent: For stubborn spots, use a tiny amount of mild soap diluted in lukewarm water.
- Test First: Always test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area, as linen can sometimes change colour when wet.

Base Care and Maintenance:
- Do not use chemical cleansers, dusting sprays, abrasive cleaners or furniture polish.
- Dust frequently with a soft, dry cloth. Wash periodically with a cloth dampened with warm water, and if necessary, a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid. Use a second damp cloth to remove the soap.

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
