UMBRIA STAY is a study of the lively home. A home not staged as an object, but activated through the rituals inside it.

A film exploring the rhythm between food, sound, texture and home. With Pip Sumbak at its centre, the film considers what makes a space feel alive. The meal being made. The music moving through the room. The textures under hand. The furniture holding the pause, the gathering, the hours after.

Play Sound Mute Sound
Food, sound, material and movement become part of the same language. A glass set down. A chair pulled close. A surface warmed by light. A room gathering feeling as it gathers people.
Cooking. Eating. Gathering. Resting. Staying.
