For the exclusive two-day retreat at the Range Rover House: Alpine Edition in Thredbo, interior stylist Steve Cordony curated a selection of MCM House pieces to transform the Alpine House into a space of refined comfort and temporary elegance.
Guided by MCM House’s distinct aesthetic characterised by natural textures, contemporary forms and expert craftsmanship, Steve introduced organic materials, soft neutral tones and tactile finishes that harmonised with the alpine setting.
Inspired by 1970s lounges and alpine hideaways, Nivara’s low-slung silhouette and enveloping forms invited guests to unwind. Anchored by White Carrara Marble Monument Coffee Tables and accented with the Arabescato Marble Arii Side Table, the setting created a sanctuary of warmth and relaxation.
Extending into the landscape, MCM House’s all-weather outdoor pieces framed moments of connection and retreat, where the beauty of the outdoors met the refined elegance of modern design; chosen to echo the rugged beauty of the Australian landscape.
