In December, we brought COSMOS to life inside a striking Dover Heights home, a space defined by texture, light and architectural character. Perched above Sydney’s coastline, the house offered the perfect canvas for a story rooted in contrast, classic MCM House silhouettes reimagined alongside new modular forms.
Behind the Scenes
This shoot marked the introduction of two new modular styles, Pedro and Baxx, both designed with versatility and modern living in mind. Watching the team style these pieces into the home was a study in balance. Each configuration was thoughtfully considered, allowing the modules to anchor expansive rooms while maintaining an effortless sense of flow. The result felt natural, lived in and quietly confident.
The home itself played an essential role in shaping the mood of COSMOS. Textured walls and buttoned ceilings added depth and rhythm, while polished concrete floors grounded the space with a cool, architectural edge. Against this backdrop, our pieces softened the interior. Natural fibre covers, organic timber tones and linen sheers were layered throughout, creating warmth and movement. The juxtaposition formed a dialogue between structure and softness, precision and ease.
Classic MCM House styles were paired with our new modular designs, breathing fresh life into familiar favourites. The combination felt both nostalgic and forward looking, a continuation of our design language interpreted through a new lens.
COSMOS is about layering, materials, forms, light and mood. It honours what we are known for while evolving the way we live with our pieces. In Dover Heights, surrounded by summer light and coastal air, that story unfolded effortlessly.
