Inspired by a trip to far western new south wales over twelve years ago. Eclipse is an luminescent display of the Darling river bends near Willcania. Water depiction being a major subject in many of the artist's works, The reflection of the sky and abstract nature of the intense yellow give an electric feel to a typically red and orange outback display. Coe reflects on taking the photo originally in the afternoon sunlight describing the green eucalyptus as a striking neon yellow against the sky and tones of the riverbank.
